The very nature of vintage clothing means that each item is a little piece of history. We take great care to try to accurately describe any signs of damage but please bear in mind that most pieces will have seen varying degrees of wear as to be expected for their age. The guide below suggests how we aim to grade the condition of our items:
Mint – in perfect condition, unworn, usually applies to dead stock items only.
Excellent – with no noticeable flaws but may show the usual signs of wear as expected for the age of the item.
Very good – with no major flaws but may contain a few thread pulls or minor spots/stains but nothing to detract from the wearability.
Good – has some obvious flaws that require a little attention before wear (small holes, tears, stains etc.) but repairable.
Fair – contains larger flaws that may require work if the piece is to be worn.
